Do I the parent/guardian need to participate in the dance class?
Petite Ballerinas {Dance with me} are classes where adult participation is required in the class.
Fairy Ballet and Dance FunTime are classes just for the children. This also extends to the classes being closed to parents to watch.
This In order to maintain a controlled and positive teaching environment, allowing limited distractions and assist the children to remain more focused and start to listen to the teacher rather than potentially running back to you on the side whenever they wish to.
Part of enrolling your preschooler in a dance class is to assist in the development of their social skills and this is why our Little Ballerinas dance classes are closed to watching.
Plus, one of the greatest things about your child attending a dance class is that the preschoolers get a real buzz out of showing and talking to you afterwards about things that they have done in the dance class!
On the very first lesson, if your child is a bit tentative, which is understandable, we encourage you to stay.
We hold OPEN WEEK during the last week of each term, giving you the parent/guardian the chance to be surprised and see all the wonderful advancements your child has made during the dance class. It makes for it to be more special! Invite family & friends!
All of our locations are carefully selected to ensure where possible, there are waiting areas immediately outside the class door. In addition to this, many of our locations have a cafe or refreshment facilities on site, along with nearby shops and parks.
