- Chat to them about how they will get to dress up in their pink tutu and ballet shoes each week - show them photos from our website.
- Go and buy their ballet shoes from a dance store - that's an exciting experience in itself for the kids.
- Talk about how they will get to make new friends and meet a new teacher too. A kind teacher who is there to support and teach them.
- Take a drive just before the start of ballet term to where the hall is so they can see where they will be coming each week. This helps the parents be ready for day 1 too!
- Read a ballerina picture story book to them.
- Let them know there will be fun music, colourful props and lovely things to dance about each ballet class.
- Let them know that you will either be dancing with them (Petite Ballerinas) or just outside (Fairy Ballet) and will always be there to take them home at the end of the lesson after they get their well deserved sticker.

Miss TrishA teacher who lives and breathes teaching babies, toddlers & preschoolers to dance...{well really loves teaching dance to all ages!} but couldn't imagine my life now without Little Ballerinas and seeing the huge steps that each child makes when they join our classes. Archives
